Backio is born from a way of understanding design: light is not an accessory, but an essential part of architecture.

Each piece that is part of the collection has been selected for its quality, its design and its ability to continue inhabiting contemporary spaces decades after it was created.

Behind Backio is me, Vanina, an architect. For years I have traveled to Denmark in search of original light fixtures that stand out for the quality of their design, their materials and their ability to transcend time.

The collection brings together pieces that capture the essence of mid-century design: clean lines, noble materials and a timeless aesthetic that continues to engage with contemporary spaces.

Each luminary has a story. The selection seeks to preserve its essence and give it a new place in the present.

Pieces with history. Design that endures.
